Position Overview

Sharpen Jobs Rwanda is seeking a professional and welcoming Receptionist on behalf of our client. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for the company, managing front desk operations and providing outstanding administrative and customer service. This role is crucial for creating a positive and professional first impression for all visitors and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Greet, welcome, and direct visitors and clients in a warm and professional manner.
  2. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
  3. Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
  4. Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
  5. Perform administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  6. Assist in managing bookings or appointments using hotel/company management software.
  7. Respond to inquiries and provide excellent customer service both in-person and over the phone.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  1. Education: University degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  2. Experience: 1-2 years of proven experience in a front desk or hospitality role.
  3. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and hotel management software.
