Job Summary
The Warehouse Officer will oversee inventory management, ensure accurate stock levels, and facilitate the seamless flow of materials between the warehouse and production teams. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills to maintain efficient warehouse operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety
standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Inventory Management and Coordination
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions and reconcile discrepancies.
- Oversee the release and receipt of stock to and from the production team, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Support the development and implementation of systems to improve inventory tracking, reporting, and stock management.
- Warehouse Operations
- Maintain the warehouse for optimal space utilization, cleanliness, and safety.
- Monitor storage conditions to prevent damage or deterioration of inventory.
- Coordinate the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
- Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and share regular inventory and audit reports with relevant departments.
- Ensure manpower staff adhere to operational procedures, proper stock handling, and safety protocols
- Address issues related to damaged or missing inventory and ensure corrective actions agreed on are implemented.
- Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with production team to streamline inventory processes and support operational goals.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications Required
- Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehouse or inventory management.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
