UTAB Study Loan Application Announcement

The University of Technology and Arts of Byumba (UTAB) announces a call for applications for a Study Loan at its KIRAMURUZI Campus.

1. Available Programs

The loan is available for students admitted to the following Bachelor's degree programs:

1. Bachelor of Education in English and Kinyarwanda

2. Bachelor of Education in English and French

3. Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and Computer Science

4. Bachelor of Arts in Accounting

Application Details

1. How to Apply: Application is done through the UMIS system, accessible on the UTAB website: www.mis.utab.ac.rw

2. Application Fee: Applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of Five Thousand (5,000) Rwanda Francs.

3. Application Deadline: The deadline for application is October 26, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

To be admitted, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

1. Completed secondary school during the academic year 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 and have obtained at least 60% marks on their A-level certificate.

2. Completed secondary school before the academic year 2023-2024 and have obtained two principal passes in the core subjects.
