Christian humanitarian organization implementing development programmers in 30
districts across Rwanda. During the 2026–2030 strategic period, our goal is to
reach 2.5 million of the most vulnerable children through interventions in Child
Protection, Education, Nutrition & WASH, and Poverty Alleviation
(Resilience and Livelihoods).

a qualified, dedicated, and experienced national for the position of:
Position:
Literacy Boost Facilitator (1)
Project: Food for Education / Home Grown School Feeding
Duty Station: Nyamasheke or Ngororero District
Reports to: Literacy Boost Coordinator
Purpose
of the Position
The Literacy Boost Facilitator will
provide technical leadership in implementing project activities within their
assigned geographical area. He/she will also serve as a liaison between World
Vision and district-level education stakeholders, ensuring effective
collaboration and accountability for project deliverables.

activities, ensuring integration of cross-cutting themes in detailed
implementation plans. |

district officials, MINEDUC, and other stakeholders to align activities with
district development plans. |
Strong WV presence in key district

Training & Capacity Building: Mobilize and train PTAs, SMCs, SGACs, DEOs, SEOs,
volunteers, and stakeholders on improved education methodologies. |

Accountability & Learning (MEAL):
Support development/adaptation of tools, track indicators, and produce timely
quality reports for WV, WFP, government, and stakeholders. |

Qualifications
and Experience
Required Professional Experience
· Strong background in pedagogy or innovative community
development.
· Experience in instructional approaches, material
development, toolkit preparation, and classroom organization.
· Proven project management skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication, including report
writing.
Education, Training &
Certifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Education (Languages), Pedagogy, or
Social Sciences.
Note: If awarded by a foreign
institution, an equivalence certificate from Rwanda Higher Education Council
(HEC) is required.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in education project
implementation.
· Valid motorcycle driving license with ability to ride.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
- Strong negotiation and networking skills with education
stakeholders.
- Experience in proposal and concept note development.
Other Requirements
- Travel:
Domestic travel up to 70% within project areas.
- Languages:
Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda (written and spoken).
- Physical Requirements: N/A
Remuneration
Salary is commensurate with
qualifications and experience.
