Hec loan results is out
1. Check Eligibility
- Be a Rwandan national.
- Be admitted to an accredited higher learning institution (public or private, local or abroad depending on the program).
- Meet academic performance requirements set by HEC.
- Belong to a category that qualifies for government loans/scholarships (based on Ubudehe, disability status, or other government criteria).
2. Prepare Required Documents
You will typically need:
National ID (scanned copy).

Admission letter from the university.

Recent academic transcripts (S6 results or university results if continuing).

Proof of Ubudehe category (from local authorities).

Birth certificate.
-
Passport (if studying abroad).

Any additional documents requested in the loan call announcement.
3. Create an Account on HEC MIS
Go to 👉 hec.gov.rw.

Find the “Student Loan Application” or HEC MIS (Management Information System) link.

Register by creating an account with your personal details.

Verify your account using your email/phone number.
4. Fill in the Loan Application Form
Log in to your account.

Complete the online form with your personal, family, and academic details.

Select the university/program you are admitted to.

Indicate whether you need tuition loan, living allowance, or both.

Upload scanned copies of all required documents.
5. Submit the Application
Double-check all information before submission.

Submit the form online before the deadline stated in the HEC loan call.

Print a copy of the completed application form for reference.
6. Follow-up & Verification
HEC will review your application.

They may cross-check with your school, NIDA, and local government records.

If necessary, you may be asked to provide additional information or corrections.
7. Results & Loan Agreement
HEC publishes the list of selected loan beneficiaries on their website.

If selected, you must sign a loan contract with the Government of Rwanda.

The loan is then disbursed directly to your university (for tuition) and/or to your account (for living allowance, if applicable).
